Active Together’s Level 5 Certificate in Primary School Physical Education Specialism Course is back for 2023/24

Active Together remains committed to supporting primary schools in the continuous professional development of their staff, ensuring the provision of high-quality PE, school sport, and physical activity for all students across Leicestershire, Leicester, and Rutland. Over 120 primary teachers and support staff have already benefited from the training provided, as our organisation strives to place a PE specialist in every school in the region.
The Level 5 Certificate course spans a duration of five days, combining tutor-led sessions with individual work completed at the school and in delegates' own time. The initial four days follow an intensive format, delivered over two consecutive weeks, with the final day scheduled later in the academic year.
The 5 sessions will run on the following dates:
• Thursday 21st September 2023
• Friday 23rd September 2023
• Tuesday 26th September 2023
• Wednesday 27th September 2023
• Wednesday 10th April 2024
Applications for the Level 5 Certificate in Primary School Physical Education Specialism course are now open, offering educators a unique opportunity to enhance their teaching skills and contribute to the development of high-quality physical education in primary schools.
